From my home studio in North Canterbury, New Zealand, I create homemade soaps and candles by thoughtful design, everyday beauty, and a slower, more intentional way of living.

It began with a change in how I wanted to live. Moving from Europe to Rural New Zealand brought a different rhythm — closer to nature and more awareness of everyday consumption.
Soap making started at home as a simple way to reduce plastic. It has now evolved into a creative practice rooted in craft, care and ritual.
MY PURPOSE
My purpose is to bring a sense of calm into everyday life through simple, thoughtful handmade creations.
Craftsmanship and care, over scale and speed. This is why Studio Star remains intentionally small. Each piece is made to feel personal - from parcel to hand.
OUTSIDE OF THE STUDIO
Outside of the studio, I’m a mum of three, so life is full and grounded in family rhythms. I’m often found in the garden or exploring different landscapes. Nature is where I return to stillness, and where my best ideas naturally emerge.
STUDIO STAR IS INTENTIONALLY SMALL AND PRECISE, FOCUSING ON QUALITY, CREATIVITY, AND MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES RATHER THAN SCALE.
